FAQs

WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?

Please allow an extra 10 mins for your first appointment as Susie will ask you about your medical history, which will be totally confidential. She will then leave the room to wash her hands, allowing you time to undress to your underwear and position yourself on the couch under towels. You will always be covered up, apart from the area Susie is massaging. Following the massage Susie will share her findings, giving you home advice where necessary.

WHAT SHOULD I DO FOLLOWING A TREATMENT?

Please try to keep a certain amount of time free to just relax, this allows the body to respond more deeply to the session. Also please drinks lots of water to rehydrate your system, and avoid intense training.

DO YOU DO HOME VISITS?

Yes Susie charges a £5 call our fee, for minimum time of 60 minutes - please note Susie is currently only doing home visits. Please provide towels and pillows and make sure you have a suitable space for the massage couch.

CAN I HAVE A TREATMENT IF I AM PREGNANT?

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE A MASSAGE?

It really depends on the individual. Some people have one every month, but if there is a particular issue it is worth having one every week for a set period to speed up recovery, depending on your needs and financial position. Regular massage can help improve general health and wellbeing in mind and body.
